As The Uvalde Foundation For Kids Enters The Final Hours Before It Will Officially Be Christmas 2022; We Wanted To Take A Moment To Say Merry Christmas - From Our Volunteers, Board Members, Student Ambassadors & Extended Family To Yours.... It Is Our Hope That The Peace & Joy We Seek In The World Around Us, Particularly During This Season, Would Be Found In Your Hearts & Homes This Christmas & For Years Ahead.


Since That Tragic Day In Uvalde, Texas, When Our Foundation Began, Our Foundation Has Worked Tirelessly To Bring That Very Idea & Hope For Peace, Alive Again In Our School Communities & Our Classrooms Across This Nation. And, We Are Proud & Humbled To Suggest That We Have Begun That Very Daunting Task. Here Are A Few HIGHLIGHTS We Celebrate With You, This 2022 Holiday Season:


  • Established The Uvalde Foundation For Kids As A NonProfit Corporation In The State Of Texas With Official Oversight By A National Board Of Director’s

  • Received Official IRS Recognition As A 501c3 Nonprofit Charity Organization

  • Established The EDENS CRY Antibullying Program & 24 Hour Phone Line

  • Established The R.I.P (Recognize - Intervene - Prevent) School Safety Training Program For Students & Schools

  • Established The National Professional & Student Speaker Network

  • Established The Performing Arts Outreach & National Script For Violence Prevention Teaching Allocations For Teachers, School Administrators & Community Interest Groups

  • Sponsor Financially 2 Seperate NonProfit Organizations MONTHLY Which Parallel Our Overall Mission & Reflect Our Understanding Of The Importance Of Collaborative Efforts To Effectively End School Violence In ALL ITS FORMS

  • Established Headquarters In Dallas, Texas With Additional Chapter Locations In California, Washington, Arizona, Texas, Tennessee, Missouri & Illinois

  • Created The National Emergency Relief Fund For Victims Of School Violence & Provided Direct Financial Aide for Utilities & Medical Travelling Expenses For Victims Of Both The Uvalde, Tx & ST. Louis, MI School Shootings

  • Provided Resource & Direct Counseling Support For Over 7 School Threat Scenarios

  • Established National "HERO," Grant Awarded To Exceptional Students Who Have Overcome Extreme Violent Circumstances

  • Responded & Intervened Directly In 26 SUICIDE INTERVENTION Calls via Our 24 Hour EDENS FRIENDS Bullying & Peer Crisis Intervention Line

  • Responded To 6 National School Shootings; Providing Direct Crisis Aide To Victims & School Communities

  • Added To Our Student "Ambassador," Program; Holding At Least 5 Different Activities In 4 States Nationally

  • Initiated WALK FOR UVALDE FUNDRAISER & Provided Financial Aide For Victims Of The Robb School Elementary Shooting In Uvalde, Texas

  • Received Numerous Awards & Recognitions Including: BEST OF TEMPLE Nonprofits & BEST OF DALLAS Nonprofits

  • Received Honor As A Recognized Nonprofit Charity; Able To Present Deserving Students/Youth The Annual Presidential Volunteer Service Award

  • Received the SILVER BADGE OF TRANSPARENCY From National Nonprofit WatchDog Group, GUIDESTAR.ORG

  • Organized & Completed MEMORIAL Walk To Commemorate The 10th Anniversary Of The Sandy Hook Elementary School Shooting

  • Organized STOPNOW Volunteer Patrol Teams In 7 Cities Nationally

  • Organized The EDENS ANGELS 24 Hour Internet Watchdog Team To Intervene In Online Threats To Students Or School Communities

  • Received National Media Coverage On Our Efforts From Various Media Outlets Including: CBS NEWS, KXXV NEWS, YAHOO NEWS, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, KWTX NEWS, FOX44, KCEN, LOS ANGELES TIMES, UVALDE HESPERIAN, NBC NEWS, ST LOUIS HERALD NEWS, LONDON PRESS NEWS
