Uvalde Foundation For Kids Launches National Fundraising Relief Campaign For Families of Maine Mass Shooting

The Uvalde Foundation for Kids, who recently responded to the Wednesday, October 25th mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine announced in a release Thursday afternoon, that it will continue to offer its support services to the affected communities, as well as extend its reward offer for information directly leading to an arrest.

Statement From Founder, Daniel Chapin:

"While our foundation's main focus since our inception has been preventing, and sadly, responding to the epidemic of school violence in this nation; we understand that our nation's students outside of the classroom, live in communities much like Lewiston, Maine all over this country & hence; our work must extend there as well."

The Uvalde Foundation For Kids has extended our full resources to the community during this time; including the Lewiston School Communities - Whereby we are also establishing our STOPNOW Volunteer School Patrols.

While the community regroups, families & students of this precious community have still suffered the immeasurable loss of a loved one or friend.. They will face numerous expenses during their regrouping and healing process. Sadly many face expenses related to upcoming funeral costs, etc.

Hence, the foundation also has IMMEDIATELY Launched a national fundraising campaign, via its website, for the affected families.

All donations are tax deductable.

__________

Foundation officials have noted that for accountability purposes the fund is set to be overseen by its current board.

Donations will be utilized for emergency relief efforts to aide the families of victims with funeral costs and immediate needs such as household bills, etc., & will be distributed directly to the families upon verified connection to the event & need.

Updates will be provided daily via the foundation website & our partnership memorandums.
