Foundation President Releases Statement On Oxford Shooting Sentencing

"It is with great relief that we acknowledge the news that Ethan Crumbley has been convicted to life in prison, for his senseless crimes purported on the innocent victims at Oxford High School.

We feel that, justice has been served and the perpetrator will be held accountable for his heinous actions.

Although this sentence will not undo the harm that has been done to the victims, their loved ones, or the community at large, it will allow healing to begin for everyone affected by this horrific crime.

We hope that this verdict brings closure and a sense of peace to those affected by this tragedy. It is important to remember that this conviction serves as a reminder that violence and harm towards others will not be tolerated in our society.

We must continue to work towards creating a safer and more just world for all."
