The Uvalde Foundation For Kids STOPNOW NASHVILLE UPDATE
The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, a national nonprofit dedicated to ending school violence & formed in response to the May 2022 Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas; announced in late July 2023 that it had begun local recruitment for community volunteers to join its STOPNOW volunteer school patrols to support and provide additional security presence & community encouragement for Covenant School students returning this upcoming school year to classes temporarily planned to be held at a different location. Additional patrols are planned as well throughout several Nashville Tennessee school communities.
Foundation officials have clarified this week that the foundation is not affiliated in any way nor in a partnership with the Covenant School. However, patrols, planned for off campus and district property are developing to include off campus community patrols around the Covenant School Neighborhood Community.
