The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, A 501c3 Charity, Announced On Sunday, Feb 26th 2023, Plans To Honor The 1 Year Anniversary Of The Uvalde, Texas, Robb Elementary School Shooting; Which Occurred, May 24, 2022 - With A Special 21 Mile Memorial Walk. The Foundation Noted That Every Mile Paticipants Walk, Is Designed To Honor Each Of The 21 Lives Lost In Uvalde.
A Memorial Candle Will Be Planted Every Mile Of The Memorial Walk; Scheduled From Temple, Texas To Salado, Texas. The Foundation Has Released That The Public Is Encouraged & Invited To Join The Event; Slated To Begin At 11:33am In Temple, Texas - The Precise Time It Was Reported That Shooter, Salvador Ramos, First Entered The Robb Elementary School Campus.
The Foundation Itself Began Following The Uvalde Shooting; With An Original 21 Mile, Bell County Walk In May 2022. Funds Raised From That Event Were Donated To Victims Families: https://www.kxxv.com/walk-for-uvalde-continues-in-temple
The Foundation Has Since Worked On A National Level To End School Violence In Schools Nationally Including: Texas, Virginia, Illinois, Iowa, Oregon, Georgia, Michigan & Colorado, Most Notably At Richneck Elementary School In Newport News, Virginia.
